Cybersecurity Guidebook for Schools in Hong Kong
The Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of Hong Kong Police Force, in collaboration with the Digital Policy Office (DPO), Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), the Association of IT Leaders in Education (AiTLE), PwC Hong Kong DarkLab, has jointly launched a key cybersecurity initiative for the education sector – “Cybersecurity Guidebook for Schools in Hong Kong”, providing local schools with practical and systematic reference framework.
The Guidebook focuses on four key areas – Ready-to-Use Cybersecurity Policy Templates, Practical Guideline, Typical Incident Response Procedures for Schools, and Recommended Cybersecurity Configuration Checklist, helping schools of varying resources and technical capability embed cybersecurity into daily management and teaching operations, and progressively build effective defenses.
The Guidebook is also available on the “Cybersec Infohub” platform (https://www.cybersechub.hk).
