To raise staff awareness against suspicious emails, the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), has organised the Ethical Phishing Email Campaign 2024 and cordially invites organisations to participate in the campaign. The campaign aims to raise staff awareness in identifying suspicious emails so as to reduce participating organisations’ cybersecurity risk.
The campaign will be conducted from August to September 2024 and is free of charge. During the campaign, the email addresses provided by the participating organisations will receive phishing emails from us from time to time to test their staff’s cybersecurity awareness. Upon completion of the campaign, each participating organisation will receive a report reflecting their staff’s performance in handling suspicious emails.
